Hello! I'm Victoria Walton, a graduate at Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. I completed my Bachelors Degree in May of 2023 in Strategic Communications and Media Analytics.
This past summer, I had the opportunity to work as a brand marketing intern for Reynolds American Inc. on the Natural American Spirit team. My project was to create a mini business case to redesign the NAS black and gray packs to a super premium pack design. I wrote a creative brief and met with VMLY&R to discuss the brief and updated pack designs. I worked cross functionally with Operations, Research and Development, Trade Marketing and Finance on the mini business case to include pricing, launch details, new pack configurations, and ideas for premium packs.
The summer of 2021, I served as the marketing and new media intern for Siemens Digital assisting with the drafting, developing and execution and international launch of their new engineering software. Part of my responsibilities included working with Siemens’ professionals around the globe to create targeted marketing to generate awareness and interest among different industry segments and develop brand awareness.
The summer of 2020, I had the pleasure of interning at BLOC Ministries, one of Cincinnati's largest non-profit organizations. BLOC is focused on improving their social media presence and enhancing their marketing communications. My time here taught me about how to increase following, design marketing strategies and enhancing and organizing an entity's social media presence among several platforms.
In the future, I am hoping to receive a full time position within branding to broaden my knowledge on the subject. I am excited for what the future holds for me and I cannot wait to showcase my skills in upcoming opportunities.
